STABLE OPERATION INSPECTION APPARATUS FOR NOISE CANCEL HEADPHONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable operation inspection apparatus for noise cancel headphones which can inspect to see that the headphone operates stably under pressure fluctuations.;SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus comprises an airtight container 11 where a headphone support 21 is disposed in an internal space 15; a speaker 31 fitted external to the airtight container 11 in order to cause pressure fluctuations in the internal space; and unidirectional capacitor microphones 41 and 41 which are fitted to the headphone support 21 assuming a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of sound-releasing planes 52a and 53a of headphone units 52 and 53 when installed on and supported by the headphone support 21 to be a sound-acquisition axial direction. While output sounds generated separately by the headphone units 52 and 53 when one and the same target source signal is input cause low-frequency pressure fluctuations in a speaker 31, the unidirectional capacitor microphones 41 pick up the sounds separately and the collected sound levels are checked, thereby making it possible to inspect the mutual state of balance between the headphone units 52 and 53.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
