METHOD FOR PRODUCING ROOTED CUTTING OF EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rooted cutting of Eucalyptus Globulus including selectively obtaining a cutting scion having excellent rooting ability so as to enable efficient production of a rooted cutting of Eucalyptus Globulus.SOLUTION: The method for producing a rooted cutting of Eucalyptus Globulus includes employing a cutting scion having a diameter of 1.8-5.0 mm and a flexural strength of 0.2-6.0 N in view of the fact that the cutting scion whose diameter and flexural strength are converged within a prescribed range in size has excellent rooting ability. Employment of such a selection standard results in extremely improving rooting ability of the cutting scion so as to enable efficient production of the rooted cutting of Eucalyptus Globulus.
