PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which raises fermentation efficiency of rice straw dramatically by anaerobic fermentation which can collect high-definition biomass energy not mixing an additive to rice straw, and to provide a means to collect a lot of anaerobic fermentation gas which contained in paddy soil of a flooding state at high efficiency.SOLUTION: An anaerobic fermentation treatment method comprises mixing rice straw made fine to a section whose major axis is at most 9 mm into paddy soil of a flooding state to be presented for anaerobic fermentation. A method for recovering energy comprises mixing rice straw made fine into paddy soil of a flooding state to be presented for anaerobic fermentation, and collecting formed fermentation gas by a sealed container which is installed at an upper surface of the paddy soil. A method for recovering fermentation gas in soil comprises collecting anaerobic fermentation gas formed from paddy soil of a flooding state, then circulating the anaerobic fermentation gas in the paddy soil with a pipe line system to be blown off, and making a lot of anaerobic fermentation gas which stays in paddy soil surface on flooding to be collected.
