PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase calibration technique capable of easily and accurately calibrating phases of antenna elements of a phased array antenna.;SOLUTION: A radio wave outputted from an oscillator 10 through a distributor 50 is supplied only to a reference antenna element 21 to be a reference for phase calibration and a calibration target antenna element 22 out of a plurality of transmission antenna elements 20. While changing a phase of a phase shifter 42 connected to the calibration target antenna element 22, a receiving power change pattern formed by the reference antenna element 21 and the calibration target antenna element 22 is acquired. By performing a step for extracting the phase of the phase shifter 42 in which receiving power is minimized in the acquired receiving power change pattern, and calibrating the phase of a phase shifter 40 of the calibration target antenna 22 to a phase in which the receiving power is minimized, in all transmission antenna elements 20 other than the reference antenna element 21, the phases of all the transmission antenna elements 20 are calibrated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
