METHOD FOR EVALUATING FATIGUE LIFE OF LUBRICANT AND LUBRICANT WITH IMPROVED FATIGUE LIFE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating fatigue life of a lubricant in a short time and a simple way, and a lubricant with improved fatigue life.;SOLUTION: In the method for evaluating fatigue life of a lubricant, (a) relation between fatigue life and corrosion energy of a lubricant is previously acquired, (b) the corrosion energy of the lubricant, the object of evaluation, is measured; then the fatigue life of the lubricant, the object of evaluation, is obtained using the value of the measured corrosion energy and the previously-acquired relation between fatigue life and corrosion energy.
