Provided are a BWR reactor building and a PWR containment vessel in which nitrogen gas can be efficiently sealed in a vessel in order to prevent hydrogen explosion at the time of a core melting accident. SOLUTION: Nitrogen gas is sealed in the internal free space of the building 1 and the container 2 in a short time, and the inner plate, the balloon 14 and the bellows structure are used to prevent hydrogen explosion at the time of the core melting accident. A temporary closed room was provided during the operation of the reactor, and the volume of the free space was reduced, and the cross-sectional area of the nitrogen gas flow path could be reduced.
