PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a mounting area of a PSU (Power Supply Unit) or a power loss of the PSU.SOLUTION: A voltage dividing type bridgeless PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuit 1 has a first power factor improvement circuit 2 that improves a power factor of a power by according a phase difference between a current generated by an applied positive voltage and the applied voltage in the case that a positive AC voltage is applied from exterior. The voltage dividing type bridgeless PFC circuit 1 has a second power factor improvement circuit 3 arranged in parallel to the first power factor improvement circuit 2, and that improves a power factor of a power by according a phase difference between a current generated by an applied negative voltage and the applied voltage in the case that a negative AC voltage is applied from exterior. The voltage dividing type bridgeless PFC circuit 1 has an output circuit configured by arranging a capacitor C1 that stores a power whose power factor is improved by the first power factor improvement circuit 2 and a capacitor C2 that stores a power whose power factor is improved by the second power factor improvement circuit 3 in series.
