PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an arrangement unit cannot be rearranged in an appropriate storage device in more appropriate timing in a complex computer system.;SOLUTION: In a computer system, a storage device includes a plurality of memory devices each having different performance, provides a virtual volume, and allocates a segment of a plurality of storage areas to an arrangement unit that is a target of the virtual volume according to arrival of a write request from a business server, an execution time and an execution scheduled time of a job to be executed in the business server, and a time at which the segment of the storage areas is allocated to the arrangement unit are managed, relationship between the arrangement unit and the job is estimated from the execution time of the job and the time at which the segment of the storage areas are allocated, and the segment of the storage areas allocated to the arrangement unit is changed to another segment of the storage areas at a time determined based on the specified relationship and the execution scheduled time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
