PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control apparatus of a hot blast stove which enables to optimize injection heating values to each furnace, and a combustion control method thereof.SOLUTION: The combustion control apparatus 40 establishes a feedback correction amount Gq based on a difference QY between a performance value QY of an index (a heat margin index) showing a heat margin of each furnace and a target value QYof a heat margin index, and establishes a feedforward correction amount Gbased on a difference of a blast furnace required heating value of a last blast term, and a blast furnace required heating value of a next blast term. In addition, the combustion control apparatus 40 establishes an injection heating value G to a hot blast stove 11 of this combustion term, and controls a quantity of gas flow of a hot blast stove 11 by adding the feedback correction amount Gq, and the feedforward correction amount Gto an injection heating value Gx to a hot blast stove 11 of a last combustion term.
