PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna which prevents aperture efficiency from dropping by suppressing grating lobes. PSOLUTION: An array antenna is equipped with a plurality of wideband antennas having different antenna diameters, and the plurality of wideband antennas are arranged at unequally-spaced intervals, in such a manner that a wideband antenna having a small diameter is arranged in a gap which is left, after wideband antennas having a large diameter are arranged. In the array antenna, the phase centers of a plurality of wideband antennas having different antenna diameters are arranged on a one-dimensional axis; the wideband antennas are arranged so that the interval between two adjoining phase centers on the axis increases by a fixed amount from one end toward the other end of the axis; and wideband antennas having an antenna diameter smaller than the interval between phase centers are arranged.
