PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and efficiently manage takeout/return of articles.;SOLUTION: The article taking-in/out management system includes: IC tags 2 and 3 disposed at a person M and an article P and storing identification information thereof; an external reader 4 provided outward a gateway R1; an internal reader 5 provided inward the gateway R1; and a management computer 7 which determines whether the person M and the article P go out or in with respect to the gateway R1 based on a sequence when the identification information is read by the readers 4 and 5 and, when the identification information of the person M and the identification information of the article P are read within a prescribed time, determines who takes out or returns the article and which article it is.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
