PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial piston machine of a hydrostatic type having a swash plate structure embodied in a compacted structural form including an improved cylinder block bearing part in which the cylinder block is furnished a number of holes provided internally with a piston movable in the longitudinal direction and each piston is supported by the swash plate through a slide shoe, compared with a conventional arrangement where a slide shoe is coupled with the piston 6 through a slide shoe joint or a ball joint. ;SOLUTION: The center points of a plurality of slide shoes 7b are arranged in a plane E, and the intersection S of the rotational axis R of the cylinder block 2 with the plane E is positioned in that region of the cylinder block 2 at its end face A having a piston protruding opening or in that region of the cylinder block 2 in connection with the end face A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
