PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersant, a red pigment dispersion for color filters, and a red resin composition for color filters excellent in dispersion stability of PR254 and capable of obtaining a red colored layer excellent in contrast.;SOLUTION: The pigment dispersant is represented by general formula (1), wherein n is an integer of 1-16 and m is an integer of 1-16.
