PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickling agent which, in pickling steel by using sulfuric acid or a sulfuric acid-based acid, enables short-time descaling, provides a wide span of control, and has a long life as a pickle liquor and to provide a method for descaling using the same.;SOLUTION: A descaling pickling agent for steel is provided, composed of sulfuric acid or a sulfuric acid-based acid containing thiourea as a descaling accelerator and containing an organosulfur compound except thiourea and a thiourea derivative and/or a nonionic surfactant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
