CONVEYOR FOR CONVEYING ROD-SHAPED PRODUCT FROM MAGAZINE TO CONVEYING PATH IN TOBACCO-PROCESSING INDUSTRY, AND CONVEYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and highly reliable conveyor capable of quickly and effectively conveying a rod-shaped product from a magazine to a conveying path, and to provide a method of such the conveyance.SOLUTION: The conveyor includes a sending-out unit 11 constituted of a rotary drum 12 having concave parts 13 for conveying the rod-shaped products 14 from the magazine 15 to a dropping position 16 while storing the rod-shaped product 14. The rotary drum 12 is surrounded by tightly adhering shoulder part 18, and a path for launching, formed out of the concave parts 13 and the tightly attaching shoulder part 18 is formed therein. An inlet passage for introducing a compressed air flow to the path for the launching is formed to launch the rod-shaped product 14 positioned at the path for the launching. The inlet passage is formed not only so that the constant compressed air flow may be introduced to the passage for the launching, but also so as to be constantly connected at least to the two adjacent concave parts 13.
