PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FAX data management system, FAX data management method, and FAX data management program capable of adaptable to recipient terminals in various forms and managing FAX data with high reliability.SOLUTION: A file conversion device 30 includes: a media conversion part 34 for converting FAX data transmitted from a FAX terminal 10 into multiple kinds of image data and transmitting the data to multiple file servers 40-1 to 40-3 to respectively preserve the data; and a file information management part 35 for acquiring the image data from the file servers other than the one with the occurrence of an abnormality among the file servers with the image data preserved therein when the abnormality occurs in any one of the file servers so as to acquire a restoration indication for allowing a connected alternative file server 40-4 to restore the image data inside the file server, and then, transmitting the acquired image data to the alternative file server 40-4.
