PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small note bundle and a method for determining the small note bundle allowing a person to visually determine the authenticity for every bundle of bank notes, gift coupons and the like.SOLUTION: In a small note bundle (A) formed by disposing a plurality of small notes on a large-size sheet in a row direction and a column direction and superposing the prescribed number of small notes obtained by cutting the large-size sheet in the same direction, the authenticity is determined based on (i) a difference between a density of one side face of the long side of the small note bundle and a density of the other side face of the long side, and (ii) a difference between a density of one side face of the short side of the small note bundle and a density of the other side face of the short side.
