PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard to cause crackings of a corner part even if the radius of curvature in the corner part of a depression-fitted part and the subsequent side face part is made small in the case of compacting a cylindrical member having a projecting part in the axial direction or a depression part in the radial direction at the inner circumferential side by using a hollow-fitted core die.;SOLUTION: The core die 10 for compacting is used for compacting a cylindrical member having an almost cylindrical shape and further having a projecting part projecting in the axial direction or a level difference part or a depression part in the radial direction at the inner circumferential side. At least a part of the outer circumferential face 10G in the core die is provided with a depression part depressed to the central direction, at the same face with the upper face 7u of the depression part 7, it is divided vertically into two parts, and the divided faces are mechanically joined each other by a joining member or are adhered by an adhesive.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
