PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather radar observation information system and a weather radar observation information providing method for providing information on rainfall data observed by a weather radar and represented in different colors for each rainfall by the mesh unit on a map in an easy-to-understand manner for a user.;SOLUTION: A weather radar observation information providing system according to an embodiment has an image information acquisition section, an information extraction section, an area information specification section, a rainfall calculation section and a provision information generation section. The image information acquisition section acquires image information containing rainfall two-dimensional image information, observation time information on rainfall data and example information. The information extraction section extracts the observation time information and the rainfall example information from the image information. The area information specification section specifies an area included in the rainfall two-dimensional image information. The rainfall calculation section calculates the rainfall in the area included in the rainfall two-dimensional image information in accordance with the example information.
