PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method about body motion signal in which a subject noninvasively and continuously measures at least repeated rhythm motion of a body of a human.SOLUTION: Information processing including following three steps (1) to (3) are carried out in an information processing device about the body motion information obtained by carrying a body motion signal-detecting device having a body motion-detecting section and the result obtained in the information processing is extracted: (1) a period candidate extracting step of applying pattern matching processing about the body motion signal information and extracting rhythm period candidate wave as the rhythm period candidate relating to the rhythm motion; (2) an auxiliary wave making step of obtaining a motion trajectory by carrying out integration about body motion signal information -1 time or more and making auxiliary wave by carrying out coarse-graining about the motion trajectory; and (3) a period selecting step of overlapping the rhythm period candidate wave extracted in the period candidate extracting step and the auxiliary wave obtained in the auxiliary making step and selecting the period of the rhythm period candidate wave having a peak in the auxiliary wave as a proper period.
