PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for a color-vision impaired person which not only allows the color-vision impaired person to easily discriminate colors in a wavelength range from green to red but also allows a normal color-vision person not to feel strangeness.;SOLUTION: A lighting system for a color-vision impaired person comprises: a first auxiliary light source 1 and a second auxiliary light source 2 each emitting light with a specific wavelength: a control unit 3 for controlling light outputs from the first auxiliary light source 1 and the second auxiliary light source 2; a first light output adjusting unit 4 for adjusting the light output from the first auxiliary light source 1; and a second light output adjusting unit 5 for adjusting the light output from the second auxiliary light source 2. The first auxiliary light source 1 has an emission wavelength within a range of 580-600 nm. The second auxiliary light source 2 has an emission wavelength within a range of 470-490 nm. By adjusting the light from the first auxiliary light source 1 and the light from the second auxiliary light source 2 so that the mixed color light of the light from the first auxiliary light source 1 and the light from the second auxiliary light source 2 may be within a range of DUV=±5, the color-vision impaired person can easily discriminate colors in a wavelength range from green to red, while a normal color-vision person can feel less strangeness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
