PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure thermal conductivity with precision even if a sample has high thermal conductivity, namely in the region deviating from the condition that satisfies one-dimensional heat-transfer.;SOLUTION: This device is provided with a database, where the relation between phase delay and thermal conductivity and the relation between phase delay and thermal permeability, which is heat reflection intensity change of the reflection light by temperature measuring laser beam to the intensity change of heating laser beam, are stored as calibration models in a region where thermal conductivity and thermal permeability to phase shift is uniquely determined. There, from measurement data acquired under measurement conditions which depend on heat modulation frequency and/or thermal diffusivity, setting of thermal conductivity to phase delay and thermal permeability to phase delay are performed for reference samples for calibration of which characteristics are known and comparison samples composed of known reference samples having higher thermal conductivity than the reference samples for calibration.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
