PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing a silver tabular grain, which is capable of mass manufacturing of a silver tabular grain having a small grain size and high monodispersity and also of compounding the silver tabular grain efficiently in a short time by using a highly concentrated aqueous dispersion liquid; the silver tabular grain manufactured by the manufacturing method; a silver tabular grain contained composition that contains the silver tabular grain; and a film that uses the silver tabular grain contained composition.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the silver tabular grain includes: a compound liquid preparation step of preparing a compound liquid including a silver salt, a dispersing agent, and a reducing agent in water; and a mixing step of mixing other solid state silver salts in the compound liquid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
