PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a member for easily hooking a rope, in an elevator of using a resin-covered rope.;SOLUTION: After installing a pulley-covering member 13 made of a construction material of lower friction than the rope groove of a sheave 10 and pulleys 5, 11 and 12 contacting with the resin-covered rope 14 in the rope groove, rope hooking work is performed, and after finishing rope hooking, removal work of the pulley-covering member 13 is performed. Thus, the resin-covered rope 14 can be hooked in low friction, and a constitution of the resin-covered rope 14 suitable therefor is also proposed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
