PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly switch a system by providing, to each guest OS, a system switching method satisfying high usability needed by a number of guest OSs to thereby prevent, even when physical or logical configuration or operating state of a system are changed, consumption of resources due to an excessive system switching or overflow of the system due to an insufficient system switching. PSOLUTION: In a server virtualization environment, a suitable configuration which has a system switching method by hot standby and cold standby is attained by selecting a system switching method satisfying a high usability requirement for designating a performance in system switching of an application on a guest OS, and switching the system switching means.
