PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing paper which contains ground drink residues, on which letters and the like can beautifully be printed, and which has an aroma.;SOLUTION: The printing paper is made by papermaking paper sheets free from ground drink residues in a basis weight of Y g/m² on each one side on both the sides of a paper sheet compounded with the ground drink residues in a basis weight of X wt.%, where X is represented by an expression satisfying 0X≤25, and Y is represented by an expression satisfying 1.6X≤Y≤136.
