PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acrylic resin emulsion for polymer cement with which the conflicting problems of the improvement of elongation of a coating film and the suppression of swelling of the coating film upon working can be solved. PSOLUTION: The acrylic resin emulsion for polymer cement is obtained by emulsion polymerizing monomer components comprising, by weight, (a) 25-99.8 parts of (meth)acrylate, (b) 0.1-5 parts of (meth)acrylic acid, (c) 0.1-5 parts of polyfunctional monomer, (d) 0-60 parts of aromatic vinyl compound and (e) 0-5 parts of other copolymerizable monomer, where (a)+(b)+(c)+(d)+(e) = 100 (parts) is satisfied. A polymer cement composition is obtained by mixing 10-300 parts by weight of a cement-based powder with the 100 parts by weight (in terms of solid content) of the acrylic resin emulsion (composition) for polymer cement.
