PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester monofilament exhibiting not only deep dyed part and pale dyed part in length direction of the filament on dyeing, but also capable of showing a visual character by its sufficient unevenness in thickness even in a non-dyed state: a method for producing the same: a fabric obtained by using the same: and a fibrous product by using the fabric. PSOLUTION: The polyester monofilament having unevenness in thickness, has an unevenness in thickness relative to U% in the length direction of the filament of 5-20%, an average fineness of 5.5-50 dtex, and a tensile strength of not less than 7.0 cN. The polyester monofilament is preferably produced by separating the polyester multifilament used for yarn separation, and used for man's clothes, woman's clothes, sportswear, curtain, upholstery, partition, car sheet, or the like as the fabric.
