PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of a time when the user should start a next action at a predetermined time earlier than the time in a portable terminal having a function of an electronic schedule book and to determine whether the action is performed on schedule by making a confirmation during the action of the schedule.;SOLUTION: A control part 11 obtains a time when a user should start a next action on the basis of a schedule, an action, and a duration of the action. At the predetermined time earlier than the time when the user should start the next action, alarm start means 19 starts up an alarm to make a notification to the user.
