PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can easily and accurately measure the strength of glulam.;SOLUTION: In a method in which the strength of a glulam 10 constituted by laminating a plurality of laminars 11 is measured according to Young's modules, the point at the same distance from right and left sides seen from the center of the right and left long directions of the glulam 10 is considered as a supporting point 7 and supported from the under side. The center is hit by the hitting machine and the oscillation frequency of the flexural vibration due to the hit is measured. Based on the frequency, the weight and the dimension of the glulam 10, the Young's modules is calculated.
