PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a light guide fiber in a strabismus type ultrasonic endoscope capable of surely fixing the light guide fiber inside a light guide fiber insertion hole formed in a hard section which is a component near the distal end of an insertion section even when the diameter of the insertion section is reduced. PSOLUTION: The fixing structure of the light guide fiber in the strabismus type ultrasonic endoscope comprises: the light guide fiber insertion hole 30 formed inside the hard section 25 forming the vicinity of the distal end of the insertion section 13 and provided with an axis parallel section 31 extended roughly in parallel with the axis of the insertion section from the rear end face of the hard section to the front, whose diameter is larger than that of the light guide fiber LGF, and an inclined section 32 extended from the front end of the axis parallel section to an inclined surface 26; and a fixing rod 40 extended in a direction parallel to the axis parallel part, to be inserted to the axis parallel part so as to be in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the axis parallel part and the peripheral surface of the light guide fiber.
