PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum recycling technology for removing impurities or an alloy element in molten aluminum, which comprises simple steps of only adding a ceramic particulate material into the molten aluminum, stirring and holding the molten aluminum and removing the ceramic particulate material, does not need a complicated apparatus, needs only a short time for an operation, and besides, gives little influence on the environment. PSOLUTION: The pellet or the particulate material for enhancing the purity of aluminum and collecting aluminum by removing the alloy element or the impurities contained in aluminum or aluminum alloy is made of a fired mixture body which comprises an aggregate (A) made from ceramic that does not react with the molten aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a substance (B) that does not react with the molten aluminum or aluminum alloy but reacts with the alloy element or impurities contained therein.
