PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easier to install an extension terminal so as not to exceed allowable power of a key telephone system.;SOLUTION: A main control device connected to a plurality of extension terminals, when an extension terminal is newly connected, receives necessary information for recognizing power consumption of at least the newly-connected extension terminal from the newly-connected extension terminal; recognizes the power consumption of the newly-connected extension terminal by the received information; and integrates the recognized power consumption into the total amount of the power consumption of existing connected extension terminals. The main control device allows the newly-connected extension terminal to operate normally when the integrated value calculated by the integration is within predetermined allowable power amount; and designates the newly-connected extension terminal to indicate that normal operation is not allowed when the integrated value exceeds the predetermined allowable power amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
