PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for generating a quantum correlation photon pair, operating while stably maintaining an expectation of the number of correlation photon pairs generated to a constant value.;SOLUTION: The device includes: a nonlinear optical medium 20; an excitation light source 12 outputting excitation light; an auxiliary signal light source 14 outputting auxiliary signal light; an optical multiplexer 16 multiplexing the excitation light and the auxiliary signal light to output; an optical coupler 18 guiding the output light from the optical multiplexer to the nonlinear optical medium; an optical branch 22 branching the output light from the nonlinear optical medium into an auxiliary signal light component and an auxiliary idler light component to output; a first photodetector 24 and a second photodetector 26 detecting intensity of the auxiliary signal light component and the auxiliary idler light component, respectively; and a control signal generating unit 30.
