PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide viewing and listening of a content which corresponds to user's taste, at a remote position comfortably. PSOLUTION: In a content remote viewing and listening system 10, a PVR (personal Video recorder) 100 owned by a user at his house and the like, a server 200 managed by a provider 30, and a mobile phone 300 carried by a user 40, are each integrated in a network 20. In this system, the user 40 can access a web-site managed on a server 200 and request the playback of a content recorded in the PVR 100 from user's own dedicated home page. According to the command from the server 200, the PVR 100 to which the playback is requested transmits data for streaming playback of the given content to a mobile phone 300.
