PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnostic device of a solar cell module capable of correctly diagnosing a failure of the solar cell even when the solar cell module is mounted on a mobile body.;SOLUTION: The failure diagnostic device 1 for diagnosing the failure of the solar cell module 2 includes: an LED 4 for generating inspecting light to the solar cell 3; a voltmeter 5 for detecting an output voltage of the solar cell 3; and a controller 6 for determining the fialure. The controller 6 for determining the failure compares the output voltage detected by the voltmeter 5 with a predicted output voltage value of the solar cell 3 when the solar cell 3 is irradiated by the inspecting light to determine the failure of the solar cell 3. This can determine the failure by the use of constant input light even when the solar cell module 2 is mounted on a vehicle or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
