PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical clothes pest egg hatching inhibitor which contains a natural essential oil-derived component or a synthetic fragrance component, exhibits high egg hatching inhibition effect and excellent safety to humans and animals, and emits a faint aroma showing the rise of the effect and improving a sense of use.;SOLUTION: The clothes pest egg hatching inhibitor comprises one or more kinds selected from dihydromyrcenol, allyl octanoate, allyl cyclohexyl propionate, allyl isoamyloxy acetate, and allyl cyclohexyloxy acetate.
