PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid circuit breaker for blocking either the movable contact of a break chamber or that of a vacuum switch after they are open.;SOLUTION: The hybrid circuit breaker 1 comprises a first cut-out switch 10; a second cut-out switch 20, and a drive means 30. The drive means opens a first pair of contacts 11, 12 and a second pair of contacts 21, 22 when opening the circuit breaker 1, and then blocks the second pair of contacts 21, 22 while maintaining the first pair of contacts 11, 12 in an open state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
