PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidity authenticating method, a solidity authenticating apparatus, and a solidity authenticating program, for preventing illegal authentication by using a photograph etc. in face authentication.SOLUTION: Imaging means 10 images a plurality of face images S10a, S10b each having a different posture. Feature extraction means 20 extracts feature points in a face from each of the face images S10a, S10b. The feature points to be extracted are three arbitrary feature points (plane constitution points) and points (solidity evaluation points) outside of the plane constituted by the three points in a real face. Solidity amount calculation means 30 calculates a solidity evaluation amount S30 of the solidity evaluation points from feature point coordinates S20a, S20b of each image extracted by the feature extraction means 20. Solidity determination means 40 determines whether or not a face image is an image which was obtained by imaging a real solid face as a photographic subject by determining a solidity of the solidity evaluation points based on the solidity evaluation amount S30 calculated by the solidity amount calculation means 30 and a previously given threshold value.
