PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality image by suppressing color fluctuation while maintaining printing work efficiency in a high level, even if the large color fluctuation occurs during continuous printing.;SOLUTION: When determining that an actual toner amount obtained through acquisition of density of an inter-paper patch image formed during the continuous printing and a reference toner amount are not consistent with each other, a relation characteristic wherein the actual toner amount is associated in each variation of developing bias is reconstructed considering that the actual toner amount and the reference toner amount is consistent with each other, and the developing bias for materializing the reference toner amount is reset based on the reference toner amount and the reconstructed relation characteristic to perform image density correction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
