PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverse conversion table generating method enabling acquisition of an image before a viewpoint conversion is performed on a predetermined image.;SOLUTION: The inverse conversion table generating method is a method for generating an inverse conversion table T1 for generating, as an inverted conversion image, an image from a viewpoint-converted image, the image that is prior to applying viewpoint conversion processing to the viewpoint-converted image. A control section 11 calculates a distance L(a, b) between conversion reference coordinates P(a, b) stored in a table coordinates (a, b) of a viewpoint conversion table T2 and table coordinates (i, j) of a calculation object of the inverse conversion table T1 for each conversion reference coordinate, and calculates inverse conversion reference coordinates A(i, j) to be stored in the calculation target table coordinates (i, j) of the inverse conversion table T1 based on the table coordinates (a, b) of the viewpoint conversion table T2 and the distance L(a, b) with respect to the conversion reference coordinates stored in the table coordinates (a, b).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
