PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an affordable and highly reliable and durable cylindrical piezoelectric laminate ceramic actuator whose output power derives from the displacement and generation force in a radial direction of a cylindrical shape and whose manufacturing cost is reduced by improving the accuracy of product dimensions and simplifying the manufacturing process, and a method for manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: A cylindrical piezoelectric laminate ceramic actuator comprising a piezoelectric ceramic layer 1 and two kinds of internal electrode layers 2 formed thereon and alternately shifted so as to connect with a terminal electrode 3 at respectively opposing faces, those layers being spirally wound in a cylindrical form, includes a mesh pattern derivation section 2a provided on a side abutting on the terminal electrode 3 of two kinds of internal electrode layers 2 and a cushioning section whose opposed length of the derivation section 2a and the internal electrode layers 2 is 1% to 30%, both ends incl., of a piezoelectric active section, which is provided between an piezoelectric active section where the two kinds of internal electrode layers 2 are opposed and an inactive section where the derivation section 2a and the internal electrode layers 2 are not opposed in the vicinity of the terminal electrode 3, the cushioning section being provided at both ends of the piezoelectric active section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
