PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor having odd-numbered pole fields with which full motor characteristics can be obtained, and to provide a table feeding device which uses the linear motor.;SOLUTION: A field part of the linear motor includes first and second field yokes 11 and 12 constituted of plate-like magnetic bodies; the odd number of first permanent magnets 21a to 21e disposed in the first field yoke so that polarities might alternately differ; the odd number of second permanent magnets 22a to 22e installed in the second field yoke so that polarities might alternately differ; a first fixing member 31, which is constituted of the magnetic body and fixes the first and second field yokes by connecting first side parts 11a and 12a of the first and second field yokes; and a second fixing member 32, constituted of the magnetic body and fixes the first and second field yokes, by mutually connecting second side parts 11b and 12b of the first and second field yokes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
