PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing a collision accident of vehicles at intersection, capable of preventing the collision accident between vehicles, by informing an occupant of the vehicle crossed with the vehicle to be stopped, or like, of the presence of a dangerous vehicle advancing into the intersection.;SOLUTION: This system 11 for preventing the collision accident of the vehicles at intersection is provided with a vehicular speed measuring means S for measuring the speed of the vehicle advancing into the intersection, and a traffic signal control means 3, having a signal information acquiring means 32 for acquiring information regarding a signal displayed by a traffic signal in an advancing direction of the vehicle in the intersection; and a signal display changing means 33 capable of changing display of a traffic signal in a direction crossed with the advancing direction of the vehicle in the intersection, and for changing the display of the traffic signal by the signal display changing means 33, when the signal acquired by the signal information acquiring means 32 is a stop signal, and when the vehicular speed measured by the vehicular speed measuring means S is a prescribed speed or higher.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
