PSOLUTION: A device for determining composition is characterized in that it is provided with: an ingestion allowable amount storage part which stores a reference value for each amount of nutrient; a question storage part which stores each question in association with a plurality of answer candidates; a table which stores kinds of nutrient and the amount which should be contained in the supplement in association with each answer candidate; a question execution part which makes a user select an answer to a question and acquires it; a composition determination part which acquires the kinds of nutrient and the amount according to the selected answer candidates from the table to determine composition target information indicating the nutrient which should be contained in the supplement and the amount; the nutrient amount changing part which changes the amount of nutrient based on the reference value when the amount of nutrient indicated by the composition target information exceeds the reference value of the nutrient; and a functional material amount replenishment part which determines a functional material to be replenished in the supplement and its amount based on a changed amount of the amount of nutrient.
