PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of communication between vehicles and an information center as the whole system by preventing excessive accumulation of information at the information center, in the vehicular diagnostic information collecting system, the vehicular diagnostic information collecting method, the information center and the in-vehicle transmitting device.;SOLUTION: In the vehicular diagnostic information collecting system comprising a vehicle which transmits diagnostic information of a failure or an abnormality of an own vehicle and an information center for receiving and collecting the diagnostic information respectively transmitted from each vehicle, after the accumulated number of items the information center received and collected the diagnostic information transmitted from vehicles of a same model within a predetermined period after the start of sale of a new vehicle exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the vehicles from which the information center is to receive and collect the diagnostic information are limited to only a part out of the vehicles of the same model.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
