PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating followability or wearing comfort to a body of a wearing article, by measuring displacement of the wearing article during operation.;SOLUTION: In the displacement measuring method for measuring displacement on one or a plurality of positions on the surface of the wearing article, a domain including one or a plurality of positions on the surface of a disposable diaper 2 as the wearing article is imaged continuously by cameras 11, 12 as a plurality of imaging devices, and two-dimensional coordinate information on one or the plurality of positions is acquired from image information imaged by the cameras 11, 12 as the plurality of imaging devices, and three-dimensional coordinate information in an actual space is calculated based on the two-dimensional coordinate information, and each displacement in a prescribed direction on one or the plurality of positions is calculated from the calculated three-dimensional coordinate information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
