PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system that enables different equipment to reproduce the same contents once a license is obtained. PSOLUTION: The content distribution system is constituted including a content use managing server 100, a license issue server 200, and a client 300 to which a secure chip 400 is connected. The content use managing server 100 includes a license management key management section 140 which issues a license management key for decoding the license to the secure chip 400, and the client 300 to which the secure chip 400 is connected deciphers the license by a license deciphering section 465 on condition that the same license is not present in a license management section 450.
