The present invention addresses the issue of providing a remaining battery level detecting method for accurately detecting the remaining storage level of a battery, a remaining battery level detecting apparatus, and an audio signal reproducing apparatus. As a means for solving the issue, a remaining battery level detecting method of the present invention is provided with: a load driving step, in which an audio load is driven by supplying acoustic signals for a predetermined time by having a battery as a power supply; a voltage drop measuring step, in which a voltage drop of the battery due to the drive of the acoustic load is measured; and a remaining level detecting step, in which the remaining storage level of the battery is detected on the basis of the voltage drop thus measured.
