PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismatic reinforcing fitting installed at an intersection of a ceiling joist and a ceiling joist receiver of ceiling backing to perform reinforcement against an earthquake and to absorb impact force to thereby impart aseismatic performance.;SOLUTION: The aseismatic reinforcing fitting A reinforcing a ceiling backing structure comprising the ceiling joist 7 and the ceiling joist receiver 8 suspended from a structure of a building including ceiling slabs or beams, at the intersection of the ceiling joist 7 and ceiling joist receiver 8, is composed of a first fitting 1 mounted to the ceiling joist receiver 8, and a second fitting 2 mounted to the ceiling joist 7. The first fitting 1 is arranged to straddle the ceiling joist receiver 8 and to fit to the ceiling joist 7, and mounted axially displaceably to the ceiling joist receiver 8 against impact force generated to the ceiling backing structure due to an earthquake. The second fitting 2 is arranged to hold a ceiling joist lip part of the ceiling joist 7 and to straddle the first fitting 1, and mounted to the ceiling joist lip part of the ceiling joist 7 to be axially displaceable to the ceiling joist 7 against impact force generated to the ceiling backing structure due to the earthquake to thereby absorb the impact force generated to the ceiling backing structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
